I think if it was in Boston, the Ecotarium would be even more popular than it is. It might not have the "household name" presence of other museums -- and there are quite a few world-class museums in the area -- but I would rank this destination right up there, also! ALSO THE TRAIN WAS GREAT. IT WAS HOT AND MY WIFE WAS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH TWINS AT THE TIME, SO THE OUT SIDE NATURE WALKS WERE OUT OF THE QUESTION FOR US. WE WENT ON THE TRAIN RIDE,AND WHEN WE GOT BACK EVERYTHING WAS STILL IN OUR STROLLER. My son loved the inside domes that showed the difference of having the sun/heat and the moon/cool. There were lots of fun things to do in the museum part. We enjoyed the train ride and seeing all of the animals. They had a nice playground for a time out to play. I would recommend. There is quite a bit inside to do, but I would suggest going on a clear day. There is a lot outside.
