Perpetual Motion is a tragedy waiting to happen. The owner is the only one interested in safety rules and when she is not there, the teen staff could care less what goes on. The foam ball pit and the ladder up there seems so unsafe. Kids jumping in with no regard to other kids in the pit...would you let your kids dive into a pool with other kids below?
I just dont understand why they allow this to happen.

I have a 22 month old girl and she loves it! We bought the 1 child membership ($20.00) for unlimited use. She was a bit shy at first but we've been there 5 times and now she loves all the bouncy houses! Gets very excited when we walk in the door. She's already on the floor trying to take her shoes off! She loves everything in the place. I have to say, it's VERY clean. They are always vacuuming the floor. It's family owned and they take pride in it! Everyone is extremely friendly. Keep up the good work!!

My family and I go all the time with the pass from the library. I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old who both love it! The do have an elevator that will take you to the lower level with your stroller. Just tell the person at the desk and they will help you.

Just want to add to Mandy's comment. We do cater to children up to age 10. We do have children between 7 and 9 that visit us and have had their birthday party with us as well. It truly is based on your child's personality as to whether they will enjoy themselves here. This place is absolutely disgusting. The other day I took the kids I babysit for who are great very well behaved kids and I felt bad they had to go there. They ended up having a fun time but we left after only like 2 hours because it was so bad. Good idea in theory--not in real life. The bathrooms/ "locker rooms" were aboslutely gross with stuff and garbage all over the floor, not to mention the floor was soaking wet. And I don't mean just like a little wet because it's a water park, but I mean like puddles! There is no room to change, move, or even breathe in there not to mention the lockers are about as small as they can get.There were no tables, at all, and no chairs open either which was really hard when the poor kids wanted to eat lunch. I would hardly call this place a water park... They have a lazy river thats about as small as a kiddy pool, another small pool thats FILLED with people and kids and it is a really odd tempature...The water slides were pretty fun but the lines were also long and you get freezing waiting for them. The place was so overcrowded, really unsanitary, and definitely not a "water park". I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone, don't go!

Hi Michelle,
I would not recommend it for children ages 7-9 because most of the activities / bounce house / small ride around bikes, etc are for younger children.

I have visited the coco key waster park in Waterbury,ct several times.In the beginning it was a nice little place to bring your kids.I bought what they called an after school splash pass for my kids.This pass is good until December 23rd.I am not happy with there service at all and after my passes expire I will not not be visiting again.They have alot of young kids who work there and they don't do their job.On one visit there were people having sex and making out in the hot tub.When i complained about this and told them this is supposed to be a family place the worker told me that there is nothing they could do about it.They used to supply towels but nolonger do this .My son got hit in the face and got a bloody nose by an older kid and once again they couldn't do anything about this.It was very hot inside and there was so much chlorine in the water that my eyes were burning and I wasn't even swimming.The next time I visited the park they had a promotion that people could get in free.That place was packed with a bunch of teen age kids.These kids were out of control.They had a big fist fight and there was a trail of blood allover the floor from the basketball pool to the front.To make it worse The worker just simply came with a towel and wiped up the blood with no cleaner.I emailed the manager and the hotel about this and never got a response back.

We LOVE the this museum!!! I have to disagree about the lack of climbing structures...there's so much to do there I don't think the kids miss that at all...after all it is a MUSEUM not a gym, right. Been going since my daughter was only like 10 mos old...and now is 17 mos... and SHE can't get enough. She loves all the sounds she can make with the drums and the sound wall as well as the little kitchen where she can play and pretend. I strongly recommend the membership as well, it has paid off only after about 5 mos for us and if you add the guest pass it's great to bring your hubby or a friend and pays off in only 2x. Great for hrs of stimulation for all ages!

I would bring a 9-10 year old there, but keep in mind that the rides are not really fast or thrilling. They are geared towards young children. I think there is enough stuff there though to keep them busy. What do the other reader's think? Post a comment here to answer!

Great place to visit! I take my niece and nephew there every weekend and they never get tired of it! They love it! The staff is awesome, very friendly, and the place is always clean!

It is always great to get feedback. I would like to address some of the concerns of one reviewer. Our liability insurance company will not allow us to place a step stool in the bathroom. Due to ADA complaince we can not mount a sink or hand dryer at a lower level as it impedes on the radius required. I would love to have been a part of the design of the bathrooms but they were pre-existing, we hope to renovate them in the future. If anyone has suggestions for a better location in the bathroom for the changing station we would love to move it. We just have not found a better location with available wall studs on which to mount it.
In response to conerns about the food options in the pizzaria: there are 4 chairs in the pizzaria and always have been. The felt scraps are cut in pizza shapes for children and families to use their imaginations in designing their own pizza. We have done this to limit the "mouthing" of toys and thus keep your children safe from viral infections. The felt is easily laundered on high heat and the texture greatly deters children from placing it in their mouths. We want your children to be imaginative and safe during their visit! I am usually very sensitive to fumes, I wish I had known you were so uncomfortable by the smell, we would have happily refunded you on the day of your visit. We are very excited to have made many improvements in the last month. We have many more murals on the walls, a new ZOOM exhibit, a new rocket launch exhibit, added details to the veterinarian exhibit and a wonderful fall line up of special events! We hope you will come and see all of our new changes and those still to come.

We love Southwick Zoo and look forward to goingevery year, however this past August my 5 yr. old son and I went and he found a $20 bill in the parking lot..doing the right thing we turned it into the cashier at the gate, she never said she would try to make sure it goes to it's rightful owner or anything. When we were leaving at closing time the cashier was gone and we spoke to an employee to see if anyone had claimed it, she contacted her manager and I was told that none of the employees had turned in any lost/found money that day....It's pretty obvious that cashier had kept the money herself.
It certainly won't stop us from going again but next time I will turn in any lost/found items directly to management instead of the cashiers.

The Ecotarium is really one of the region's best -- and perhaps most underrated -- cultural attractions. I think if it was in Boston, the Ecotarium would be even more popular than it is. It might not have the "household name" presence of other museums -- and there are quite a few world-class museums in the area -- but I would rank this destination right up there, also! Had a great time --such an entertaining and informative experience.
